The story

A home away that feels like the best bit of home.

We bought our caravan in 2016. A static on the front row at Haven Seashore, as close to the dunes as pitches get. Everything we love about it (the sea view from the lounge, the heat that kicks in fast, three proper bedrooms) is now yours for as long as you want it.

You don't plan a seaside holiday. You just pack light, drive east, and let the weather tell you what to do.

We look after it ourselves and reply to every enquiry personally. Pick your dates. Pack light. We’ll handle the rest.

Questions

Answered.

Still stuck? Email hello@seaviewcaravan.com or text the number we send at booking.
Q.01
How far is the beach exactly?
150 metres. A two-minute barefoot walk along the marked dune path. On a clear day you can see the sea from the decking.
+
Q.02
Do you allow pets?
No pets of any kind, sorry. The caravan is kept fully hair- and dander-free so guests with allergies can relax. Assistance animals are welcome with prior notice.
+
Q.03
What’s included in the nightly rate?
Bedding, heating, gas, electricity, wi-fi and park entry. We don’t charge a cleaning fee. Bring your own towels (including beach towels).
+
Q.04
Is there a minimum stay?
No fixed minimum. Request any length of stay and we'll confirm what works, from a long weekend through to a full fortnight.
+
Q.05
How do we check in?
We send a short arrival email a day or two before you come with a code for the key safe beside the caravan door. Let yourselves in any time after 3pm. Any trouble on the day, just reply to that email and we'll sort it.
+
Q.06
Can I use the pool, bars and entertainment at the park?
Coast House Bar & Grill, the fish-and-chips van, the Nisa shop and the Shore Water Park pool are open to everyone on the park. Marina Bar and Stage evening entertainment needs the Haven entertainment pass, which you can buy from reception on arrival.
+
Q.07
What if the weather's bad?
Honestly, the caravan's built for weather. Gas heat throughout, a 42-inch smart TV pre-logged into Netflix, iPlayer and Prime. If you need out of the rain entirely, the Shore Water Park pool is a few minutes away, or the Hippodrome circus and the indoor arcade in town are a 14-minute walk.
+
Q.08
How does payment work?
£100 deposit secures your dates. The balance is due 12 weeks before arrival and we're happy to split it into installments if that's easier. A separate £100 refundable damages bond is charged before arrival and returned within a week of your departure once the caravan's been checked.
+
Q.09
What if we need to cancel?
Cancel more than 12 weeks before arrival and we'll refund everything except the £100 deposit. Within 12 weeks we'll try to re-let the dates; if we manage it, we'll refund what you've paid minus the deposit. If we can't re-let, the balance is retained. Family emergencies are always worth talking to us about.
+
Q.010
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
No smoking or vaping inside the caravan or on the decking. The caravan is kept completely smoke-free so guests with allergies can breathe easy.
